Original Daytona USA audio — SEGA, 1994 Engine samples, sound effects, announcer speech and music from the user-supplied Japan Revision A ROM set. Requested by the project owner on September 14, 2026. These recordings are original SEGA game audio, not CC0 or project-original works. Music and speech rendered through the original sound program using MAME 0.289; 48 kHz Ogg Opus encoding with ffmpeg/libopus. Runtime pitch, event selection and volume mixing are implemented by this project. MAME source references: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/mame0289/src/mame/shared/segam1audio.cpp and https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/mame0289/src/devices/sound/multipcm.cpp See manifest.json for exact ROM and capture hashes, sound-test selections, trims and encoded hashes. Rebuild: scripts/record-rom-audio.py and scripts/build_rom_audio.py. Raw ROMs and intermediate WAVs remain local and are not packaged. Duke Nukem 3D voice line — original game audio, 1996 The requested bubblegum line is CHEW05.VOC from the user's DUKE3D.grp. Extracted and converted directly to mono 48 kHz Ogg Opus with ffmpeg/libopus; no trim or gain change. This is original Duke Nukem 3D audio, not CC0 or project-original audio. See scripts/duke-audio-source.json for source/member/output hashes and scripts/build_duke_audio.py to rebuild. The GRP and raw VOC are not public assets. Activated by the DUKE garage easter egg. Duke Nukem 3D theme — Grabbag, composed by Lee Jackson GRABBAG.MID from the user's DUKE3D.grp, rendered through TinySoundFont/TinyMidiLoader using GeneralUser GS v2.0.3 by S. Christian Collins, then encoded to stereo 48 kHz Ogg Opus. This is a new rendering of the original MIDI composition, not an extracted recording of a particular sound card. See scripts/duke-theme-source.json for all source/render hashes and scripts/build_duke_theme.py to rebuild. SoundFont: https://github.com/mrbumpy409/GeneralUser-GS (license v2.0 permits musical recordings). Renderer: https://github.com/schellingb/TinySoundFont (MIT / zlib). Only the rendered Opus is packaged. KNIGHT RIDER EASTER EGG music-kitt.opus — Knight Rider theme, CD Instrumental Version. Composition: Stu Phillips / Glen A. Larson.
